Jennifer McLaury is passionate about helping others. Working at Walters Renwick Richards Skeens & Vaughan, P.C., gives her an opportunity to be a part of team that is dedicated to making a positive difference.

Prior to graduating from the University of Kansas School of Law, Jennifer worked in various areas of legal practice to discover which  type of firm and legal work would be the best match for her skills and interests.  Her experiences as a legal intern at the Paul E. Wilson Project for Innocence and Post-Conviction Remedies, the Missouri State Public Defender, and the Family Health Legal Services Clinic gave her valuable skills and direction towards achieving her goal.  Thorough in her research and passionate about helping those who have been wronged, she found her match and her career path at WRRSV.

As a legal assistant to Fred Walters, Karen Renwick, and Bruce Nguyen, Jennifer helps deliver outstanding legal representation to each and every client. She accomplishes this by keeping  client files, attorney schedules and other administrative tasks complete and up-to-date, as well as by performing research on a variety of legal issues and filing documents with the courts.  She enjoys doing her job well so the attorneys she assists can focus their time and energy on advocating for their clients.
